The Office of Magisterial District Judge, formerly known as District Justice, is the Court that is closest to the people. The people deserve someone in the Office that is impartial, understanding and dedicated to justice and improving the quality of life in our communities. The Magisterial District Judge rules on many matters that affect the daily lives of the citizens in the area including civil litigation, landlord tenant disputes, traffic and non-traffic offenses and conducts preliminary hearings in all misdemeanor and felony criminal cases occurring in the Court’s jurisdiction.
Ron Haggerty Jr. will be an independent voice in the community that understands the problems that affect the quality of life in the area. He will continue to bring compassion, integrity and ethics to Office of Magisterial District Judge.
